Early on I wanted to work with children, so I decided to assist in a kindergarten for a year after finishing my “Abitur” at school. I then obtained a Diploma in Social Work in 1997 before coming to Australia, not knowing I would stay. I spent my first years being an assistant at a special needs school and a support worker. My hobbies include reading, laughing with friends, dancing and singing. And for the last few years I've been teaching yoga and Pilates-inspired exercise classes, which is lots of fun. I'm really enjoying my German sessions with the kids at MPLCS as I can combine many of the things I’ve done in my life – including singing german children’s songs again! Bis bald!
